Welcome back If you've been feeling like, hey, I'm spiritually aware, I've been doing loads of work, but I'm still tired, or if you've achieved success but your body still hasn't caught up to that, and feeling that joy, that success, that happiness that you were expecting and you've done. Being the one that holds everything together, ties everything up, being the responsible one, and you're ready now to be held. This episode is for you, because today we're remembering the skill that changes everything Actually being witnessed, not for how much you produce, not for how perfectly you perform, not for how perfectly you perform, but for who you are actually acknowledging and witnessing who you are, in stillness, in softness, in truth. And when we are able to do this, we not only excel in how we interact with others, but our whole life starts to change. So take a moment to place your hand on your heart and just take a moment to witness yourself and come home to you, because being seen isn't about being in the spotlight or being everyone looking at you. It's completely the opposite. It's about safety. It's about when your nervous system feels fully safe, being witnessed, not judged in any way. You just feel free and you don't feel rushed and you don't feel like you have to perform, it actually finally softens. It's like you can breathe and when you can breathe you return and your creativity comes back, your voice comes back, your capacity to receive comes back and your ability to receive others also.

Speaker 1:

And so many of us were praised when we were growing up for producing, for performing, for achieving, for achieving a certain goal, and we were ignored when we just were being. I remember when I was working that actually someone quite senior used to do that on purpose would ignore people that weren't overachieving in their targets and only focus on the people when they were overachieving on their targets. So you were a nobody if you hadn't overachieved on your targets and it was actually a way to get people to perform more. But when we feel ignored from just being ourself, it actually splits us from ourself. We actually feel like a split ourselves within ourself and we start performing for connection instead of embodying it, instead of actually feeling connected to ourself fully. So here's the truth we don't heal or we don't perform our best through when we're feeling unregulated or dysregulated. It's just pure science. We actually heal and we perform our best through presence, through feeling like we're safe to be ourself, and so nothing regulates better than witnessing ourself, not in a judgmental way, but truly being there to witness and be present to ourself. So let's really ground this in our body.

Speaker 1:

According to polyvagal theory by Dr Stephen Porges, your nervous system is constantly asking am I safe, am I seen, am I supported? It's constant, it's constant, it never stops. And this is what's called neuroception. It's a subconscious detection of threat or safety. And when someone witnesses you and sees you with softness, with love, with compassion, your whole vagus nerve activates and your heart slows down and you return to what's called ventral vagal state, which is the zone of connection. You feel safe to connect. You feel the zone of compassion and creation.

Speaker 1:

So neuroscience also tells us, being ignored actually lights up the same pain receptors as a physical injury. Up the same pain receptors as a physical injury. Just think about the last time you were out with friends or you were in a meeting and you felt unseen, or you mentioned something. Someone else decided to say the same thing as you. Everyone you know acknowledged that person and no one acknowledged you. It actually lights that up as a physical injury, even if you felt unseen.

Speaker 1:

It's not just emotional, it's actually biological as well. You weren't broken in any way. You're just wired biologically to seek resonance. We're biologically so.

Speaker 1:

A lot of people feel like, oh, if I'm feeling ignored or you automatically start feeling shame that you were ignored and start feeling like, oh, that must mean I'm needy, I need the attention. No, you don't. We're biologically wired to seek resonance. Everyone, everybody is. We want to be seen, and it's not just being seen externally. It's really important that we allow ourselves to be seen internally and acknowledge how we're feeling. So, if you are ignored, it's actually taking that moment to pause and allow yourself to get regulated before continuing and acknowledging hey, that didn't feel so good and I acknowledge that and it's okay that I feel the way I do, and not make yourself feel bad for not being seen, for having needs and having your needs met. So just take this moment with me to pause, because information without integration is just like noise. Really Allow yourself to really soften, relax, take a deep breath in and out and just whisper to yourself I see you, you don't need to perform to feel safe here. You're enough as you are. Allow your system to feel what it's been craving all along. Feel what it's been craving all along Witnessing without pressure, being witnessed without the pressure to be something or someone within yourself. Let's just zoom out for a second.

Speaker 1:

Einstein said match the frequency of the reality you want. This is not philosophy, this is physics. When someone holds a presence for you, they're holding a higher frequency and your body and your field entrains to it. You actually feel that connection. Heartmath research proves that your electromagnetic field becomes more coherent in elevated states like gratitude, love, that coherence is not just healing, it's magnetic. You're not attracting from hustle and grind and prove you're attracting from resonance. You see a lot of people actually look at law of attraction. But if you really think about what Einstein is actually saying, he's talking about the physics behind it. Match the frequency of what you want. This is not philosophy, that's physics. He was saying everything is energy. In essence, what he's saying is everything works from the law of resonance.

Speaker 1:

So let's just talk about leadership for a moment. When your clients feel seen, they trust you. If you're working in a team and you're actually taking the time to see other people and you're a leader, they will stay because of you. If your audience feels seen, they will buy from you. This is the business secret. No one really teaches. Presence sells. Coherence scores scales and safety converts.

Speaker 1:

You don't need all this kind of content and strategies, and sometimes we just need to go back to the basics, back to the simplicity Like what is life all about? Really embody that in every area of your life. Try and really see people for who they are. We don't need to sell anything to anyone in true sense. If they need it, they will come, if they don't, they won't. It's simple and really you don't want to be selling to anybody that doesn't need your skills either, because how is that going to help you long term?

Speaker 1:

So, truly, we need to come from a space of where am I right now, when I'm at work, do I really give people time? Am I truly witnessing other people? Because if you can witness someone else, I promise you what that means is you're witnessing yourself. In that moment, you're not performing, you're actually being who you truly are. When we're worrying about what we've got to say next and how to impress other people, we're not really seeing anybody else either, and then nobody feels heard, nobody feels understood. But if you can witness other people, people will love being around. You will really feel your presence, your higher level of frequency, and from there you will stop performing as well and you will start responding to life. You see, if your body is tired of really struggling to earn and struggling in life, maybe your soul is really working hard to help you remember, because hustle is not ambition, it's often unprocessed survival.

Speaker 1:

Most of us think that it is conditioning, that if you're resting you're lazy. That's not true. Your body is nature, it's a life force, energy. It needs time to rest, just like there's seasons in life. Stillness is weak. No, that's not true. You look at people like Buddha. Were they weak? They were still for some time meditating a lot. Or that visibility is unsafe. That's not true either. Whether you're visible or invisible, like you're hiding, perhaps that's more unsafe because you're coming from a space of actually feeling unsafe, so you're more likely to be resonating feeling unsafe, so you're more likely to attract people that are unsafe. But that was never your truth. This was just conditioning. That wasn't who you were. You were conditioned, perhaps, for something that you're trying to resolve right now.

Speaker 1:

When you were born, you were beautiful, you were soft, you were flexible. There was no rigidity in you. You were soft and gorgeous and cuddly and lovely. You were born to receive. You knew that you are worthy and it's time to return to that state that coding, that you are worthy, but with wisdom. So let's bring it home with the tools that really rewire everything.

Speaker 1:

Your self-witnessing practice should be number one ask what part of me still thinks I need to prove something. Do you feel like you need to prove your worth in some way? I'll prove them that I am worthy. They did me wrong. Now I'm going to prove that I am successful and become the CEO of an organization, whatever it is.

Speaker 1:

Number two feel. Where does that live in my body? Because you will notice there's certain areas that when you're feeling anxious, you feel that sensation in your body at some point. If you're feeling numb, that means that you've numbed yourself to those sensations and it's important to do the work to feel again, again, because the way we experience life is through feeling life. We want to feel joy, we want to feel happiness, we want to feel alive. When we're numb, we don't feel alive anymore. We've lost that.

Speaker 1:

The third thing is let's let that part say what it needs to say unf, unfiltered, without judgment, don't push anything away. We need to learn to witness and really see people, for our parts, for what they are, without trying to make them different. And then four, we witness no fixing, no rushing, just stay. And then five is rewire. You need to tell yourself it's okay, you don't need to perform to be loved, you're safe now and let that moment land in your body. Allow yourself to be the sanctuary for you so that, no matter where you are, what you're doing, you always feel like your home within yourself.

Speaker 1:

One of my clients came to me on the edge of burnout seven figure business, sleepless night system, complete collapse. We didn't add any new funnels or launch anything new. We just took the time to witness where are you? And what we saw in her body was that she's been trying to say for years I'm not meant to hold this much. It was like she felt it was wrong in some way, and so we built a structure so around her nervous system and we started to put some of the aspects that we're covering in the prosperity codes into her so that she could hold her truth and not let go of her trauma. She started selling less and earning more because she raised her prices and it felt clean and she stopped performing and started finally feeling comfortable to receive.

What are you rejecting right now in your life? What do you feel uncomfortable receiving right now, because when you can allow yourself to receive, this is what happens. Because your body follows, because your business or your career or your life is following what your body feels comfortable to hold.
